I took a chance and tried this app and it seems to work great. The resolution on the free version is not bad at 640 and looks fine on my tv and laptop and iPad. and it only took 19 minutes to convert a 2 hour movie.

Very disappointed
This app is very bad. It just crashes when load the disc. I cant use it. Quite frustrating. Dont waste your time.
